Lois J. Oberdier


BUCYRUS — On Sept. 30, 2000, at 2:20 p.m. at Heart-land of Bucyrus, Lois J. Oberdier went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Her residence was 16977 State Route 739, Richwood, Ohio. She was born April 4, 1922, in Melville, N.D., to the late Walley and Clara (Myers) Glass.
On June 30,1939, she married J. Donald Oberdier and he survives.
Also surviving is one son, Donald D. (Ann) Oberdier of Vincent, Ohio; one daughter, Susan (James) Fox of Caledonia; three brothers, Ralph Glass of Deer Island, Ore., Marvin Glass of Stone Mountain, Ga., David Glass of Richwood, Ohio; one sister, Mildred Highley of Jamestown, N.D.; 10 grand-children and 19 great-grandchildren. A stepmother, Josephine Glass, a daughter, Cheryl J. Jones and two brothers, Melvin and Charles Glass, are deceased.
Mrs. Oberdier was a member of the Union Baptist Church, the Ladies Fellowship at the church, and the Progressive Buds Garden Club of Byhalia.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2000, at 11 a.m. at the Union Baptist Church. Minister will be the Rev. Tim Peria. Burial in the Price Cemetery. Friends may call the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue, Ohio, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday.
