Lee Parker


Lee Parker, 62, of Richwood died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2000, at the Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus due to complications in an attempted heart transplant.
She was a custodian at North Union High School for the past 17 years and was a member of the Richwood Community United Calvary Church, the Richwood Civic Center and the Kitchen Band. She cherished all the children she came in contact with at the high school, enjoyed watching sporting events and especially enjoyed being with her grandchildren.
She was bom July 9, 1938, in Marion to the late Alva and Mildred Porter Orr.
She is survived by her husband, Lovell R. Parker whom she married Aug. 11, 1956, at the Richwood Church of Christ; three sons, Jimmy, Fred and Doug Parker of Richwood; four grandchildren, Ashley, Katie, Evan and Nick; two brothers, Alva "Jr." (Viola) Orr and Marty (Joan) Orr of Marion; and a sister, Janie Orr of Westerville.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. Fred Cheney will officiate and burial will be at the Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Richwood Civic Center at 235 Grove St., Richwood.
