Joseph F. Morgan


Joseph F. Morgan, 72, formerly of Prospect, died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2000,
at Springmeade Retirement Community in Tipp City after an illness of 3 1/2
years.
He was a retired farmer and had served on the Board of Milk Marketing of
Central Ohio. He was a graduate of Worthington High School, a veteran and a
member of the Prospect United Methodist Church.
He was born Oct. 15, 1927, in Plain City to the late Joseph S. and Alma
Fogle Morgan and was predeceased by a sister, Emma Coleman. He married
Nancy L. Myers March 19, 1952, in Plain City and she died Aug. 22, 1989.
He is survived by two sons, Joseph M. Morgan of Raymond and Dan (Sharon)
Morgan of Troy; four grandchildren; and three sisters, Edna Peterson of
Jacksonville, Fla., and Freda Butterfield and Virginia Williams of Dublin.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Shoup
(Thompson Township) Cemetery. The Rev. David Hoffman will officiate. There
will be no calling hours.
