Herbert Sylvester Craig

LARUE — Herbert Sylvester Craig, age 56, of 24699 Windfall Road, LaRue, died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 1999, at 7:29 a.m. at Marion General Hospital in Marion, Ohio.
He was born June 2, 1943, to Chancey Craig of LaRue and the late Vicia (Walker) Craig.
On Dec. 17, 1991, he married Wendy Hilling and she survives.
Surviving beside his father and wife is one daughter, Laura Craig of LaRue; and one sister, Nancy Craig of LaRue; nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. One sister, Faye Johnson, is deceased.
Mr. Craig worked for 29 years at the Parker Hannifin Company in Green Camp. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Vietnam with the 101st Airbourne Division, life member of the Meeker Sportsman's Club and also a life member of the Hardin County Sportsman's Club.
A remembrance service will be held Sunday, Aug. 8,1999, at 2 p.m. at his home at 24699 Windfall Road, LaRue, Ohio, with a tree planting ceremony. Friends may call Friday, Aug. 6, 1999, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue,
