Mary Ann Nelson

Mary Ann Nelson, 67, of Richwood died unexpectedly Monday, August 2, 1999, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
She was a homemaker and attended the Somerville Friends Church. She enjoyed camping, fishing, reading and, most of all, her family.
She was born July 8, 1932, in Ohio to the late Clarence and Erma Underbill Shuler and was predeceased by a brother and four sisters. She married Merlin H. Nelson June 12 1948, in Greenup, Ky., and he died Dec. 14, 1995.
She is survived by a son, Danny (Peggy) Nelson of Richwood; a daughter, Linda Nelson of Richwood; two granddaughters, Becky Nelson and Shelly (Bill) Stinemetz of Richwood; and three great-granddaughters, Katelynn Nichole, Deseria Marie and MacKenzie Taylor.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m; Friday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. George Freer will officiate and burial will be at the Byhalia Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
