Karen K. Neel Babbini

Karen K. Neel Babbini, 37, of Marietta. Ga„ drowned in Lake Cumberland June 28, 1999.
She was a regional manager for Helms Briscoe and a member of the Rich-wood Church of Christ. She was a 1979 graduate of North Union High School.
She was born July 2, 1961, in Delaware to Harold E. and Juanita Dempster Neel and was predeceased by a sister, Kathy Parks.
She is survived by her parents of near Prospect; her paternal grandmother, Pauline Neel of Richwood; her husband, Peter Babbini whom she married June 5, 1993, in Richwood; three stepchildren, Justin, Jamie and Jennie Babbini of Toronto, Ontario, Canada; a brother, Rick (Lona) Neel of Richwood; three sisters, Kristy (Mike) Apt of Prospect, Kim Ransome of Mansfield and Karolyne (Doug) Hale of Richwood; 12 nieces and nephews, Paul Apt, Sta-cie Apt, Jennifer Roginski, Shon Parks, Abram Ransome, Julie Apt, Daryle Ann Ransome, Patricia Neel, Ericka Neel, Neel Hale, Nickolas Hale and Derrick Neel; and four great-nieces and -nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Richwood Church of Christ, 29063 Sivey Road. The Rev. Scot Gorsuch will officiate and burial will be at the Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Stofcheck Funeral Home.
