Dorothy Jean Stark, 66, of Richwood died Thursday, July 1, 1999, at her
residence. She worked for 35 years for General Telephone, retiring in 1983. She was part owner of Stark's Florist and Greenhouse for 30 years and was a member of McKendree United Methodist Church in York Center and the Pioneer Club at GTE. She was born April 21, 1933, in Marion to the late Herbert C. and Madge McCombs Dill. She is survived by her husband, Douglas Brian Stark whom she married Oct. 26, 1957; a son, Cory Aaron Stark of the home; three brothers, Clifford J. (Sarah) Dill of Estes Park, Colo, Robert (Bonnie) Dill of Loveland, Colo, and Gary (Debbie) Dill of Estes Park, Colo.; a sister, Karen (Michael) Thompson of Richwood; and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. Roger Gorden will officiate and burial will be at the York Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Memorial contributions maybe made to McKendree United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society. | |||
