Paul E. Burdett

Paul E. Burdett, 71, formerly of Magnetic Springs, died Sunday, Dec. 13, 1998, at Deleware Court Nursing Home.
He attended South High School in Columbus and was a veteran of World War II in the Army. He was a mold-er in the Seagraves Foundry in Columbus, then at the Kipco Inc. in Magnetic Springs. He enjoyed bowling, gardening, hunting and fishing.
He was born April 2, 1927, in Waverly to the late Oscar E. and Alta Detillion Burdett. He married Barbara J. Buell Jan. 12, 1950, and she died Nov. 19, 1998.
He is survived by a son, Edward (Shirley) Burdett of Radnor; two daughters, Debbi (Scott) Cox and Kelly (Rob) Bushong of Magnetic Springs.; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Michael, Amy Cox, Renee and Jessica Burdett, Nathan Alvarez and Ryan and Kristopher Bushong; greatgrandchildren, Jacob and Lucas Michael; and five foster great-grandchildren, Ashley, Brittney, Dominic, David and Jacob.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Magnetic Springs United Methodist Church. The Rev. Debbie Machsak will officiate and burial will be at the Hopewell Cemetery where military services will be conducted by Richwood VFW Post 870 and American Legion Baccarat Post 40. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Central Ohio, 3380 Tremont Road, Columbus.
