Elpha D. Eichhorn

LARUE — Elpha D. Eichhorn, age 89, of 40 N. Marsh St., LaRue, Ohio, died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 1998, at Marion General Hospital in Marion, Ohio, at 6 a.m.
She was born Dec. 31, 1908, in Union County, to the late Harley and Ruey (Comstock) Mauller.
In 1936, she married Dr. Herbert Eichhorn, and he died in 1953.
She is survived by two sisters, Inez McMillen and Agnes Dunson, both of LaRue; four nieces; two nephews; six great-nieces; five great-nephews; three great-great-nieces; and eight great-great-nephews. One brother preceded her in death.
Mrs. Eichhorn was retired from teaching elementary school at Meeker for the Ridgedale School District, member of the LaRue United Methodist Church, graduate of the LaRue High School, and earned her bachelor's degree in elementary education from Ohio Northern University.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 12, 1998, at 10 a.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue, Ohio. Minister will be the Rev. Joanne A.
Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home in LaRue from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday. Those who wish may make contributions to the LaRue United Methodist Church.
