Lester Loyd Miller


LARUE — Lester Loyd Miller, age 72, of 7936 Mount Olive-Green Camp Road, died Thursday, July, 16,1998, at 8:05 p.m. at his residence.
He was born March 14,1926, on Cain Ridge, Mason County, W.Va., to the late Hollie F. and Elzina (Cain) Miller. On Dec. 23, 1947, in Emanuel Lutheran Church in Marion, he married Margaret G. Saunders and she survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Lloyd E. (Lillian) Miller of Marion and Leslie A. (Mary) Miller of Richwood; three daughters, Mrs. Leota Margene (Paul) Major of LaRue, Mrs. Rebecca J. (Rick) Dean of Richwood and Mrs. Suzanne (Douglas) Pickett of Caledonia; one brother, Franklin (Evelyn) Miller of Mount Alto, W.Va.; three sisters, Leota Edwards of Ripley, W.Va., Evelyn (Thurman) Belany of St. Albana, W.Va., and Laura V. (Bert) Hess of Leon, W.Va.; 11 grandchildren; one stepgrand-child; five great-grandchildren and one stepgreat-grandchild; and a special niece, Geraldine (Charles) Garrisson of Baltimore, Md.

ters are deceased.
Mr. Miller was a retired farmer and worked 40 years for the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad. He also was a leather craftsman. He was a dedicated family man interested in wildlife preservation. He loved mountain music, camping, fishing and horses. he was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Churchfof Marion.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 20, 1998, at 11 a.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood. Minister will be the Rev. Arnold G. Wulff. Burial in Price Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home in Richwood from 5-8 p.m. Sunday.
Those who wish may make contributions to either the Quality of Life Hospice at Marion General Hospital or the Good Samaritan Fund at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Marion.
Pallbearer will be nmothy Major, Jeremiah L. Winfield, Micah Loyd Dean, Nathan A. Miller, kIP G. Fields and Joshua M. Holtschulte. Honorary Pallbearers are Aaron M. Pickett and Bryant M. Fields.
