Donald Eugene Williamson

NEW BLOOMINGTON — Donald Eugene Williamson, age 69, of 209 DeCliff Road, New Bloomington, died Saturday,
July 4, 1998, at 7:27 a.m. at his residence.
He was born May 4, 1929, in Washington Township, Union County, to the late Lloyd and Mildred (Fleck) Williamson.
On June 17,1949, he married Beatrice M. Boyd and she survives.
Also surviving is one son, Jeffrey L. (Wanda) Williamson, Marion; one daughter, Sheryl (Kent) Skidmore, LaRue; four grandchildren, Chad and Courtney Williamson and Ryan and Brandon Skidmore; two brothers, Bill Williamson of Marion and Larry Hamilton of Richwood; and one sister, Mary Mann of Marion. One son and one daughter died in infancy.
Mr. Williamson was a self employed antique dealer, veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army and attended the Richwood Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 7,1998, at 11 a.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue. Burial is in the Byhalia Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home in LaRue from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday.
