Idella Mae Jones

LARUE — Idella Mae Jones, age 95, of LaRue, died Saturday morning May 16, 1998, at MedCenter Hospital.
She was born April 6, 1903, in LaRue, to parents Samuel F. and Lizzie Dell (Cook) Weist.
She was a homemaker, member of the LaRue United Methodist Church, the Happie Tyme Club, Good Friends Club and the LaRue Senior Citizens.
On June 5,1924, in Zanesfield, she married John Thomas Jones and he died Aug. 29,1982.
She is survived by one daughter, Winifred (Ed) Mallett of LaRue; three grandchildren, Mark (Tricia) Mallett, Jeff (Teresia) Mallett and Laura (David) Markham; great-grandchildren, John and Nicole Mallett and Kate and Jack Markham. She has one brother, Mac W. Weist, deceased.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 20, 1998, at 11 a.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue, where friends may call Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Burial will be in the LaRue Cemetery. Minister will be the Rev. Joanne Powers.
Memorial contributions may be made to the LaRue United Methodist Church or to the charity of the donor's choice.
