Robert Ray Roshon


KENTON — Robert Ray Roshon, age 78, of County Road 235, Kenton, died Monday, March 23, 1998, at 8:47 p.m. at Riverside Hospital in Columbus.  He was born Oct. 21, 1919, in Marion County, to the late Ray Bernard   and   Geneva   (Little)
Roshon.
On Aug. 16, 1941, he married
Mary Daniels; she survives.
Also  surviving is  one  son,
Kenneth (Joy) Roshon of Fort
Grant, Ariz.; one daughter, Dixie (Wayne) Boblenz of Marion; one brother. Glen Dale Roshon of LaRue; three sisters, Blanche Daniels of Marion, Annabelle Turner of Nashport, Louise Higgins; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Two brothers are deceased.
Mr. Roshon was a self-employed farmer and painter, a veteran. of World War II service in the Army, member of Post 3333 VFW Kenton and a member of the Hardin County Coon Hunters Club.
Funeral services will be, held Friday, March 27,1998, at 11 a.m. at-the' Stofcheck Funeral Home in
LaRue. Minister will be Chaplain Ken Roshon. Burial will be in the LaRue Cemetery. Graveside mili-
tary rites will be conducted by Post 6817 .VFW Mount Victory. Friends may call at the funeral home in LaRue from' 2-4' and 7-9 p.m. on
Thursday.
Memorial contributions may be made to either the American Cancer Society of the American Lung Association.
Pallbearers are, honorary, Mike Roshon, Steve Roshon, Randy Higgins and Ricky Higgins; active, Earl Thomas, Richard Clay, Gene Greentree, Nathanael Roshon, Rick Murray and Todd Buckland.
