Irey Eugene (Scooter) Walker

LARUE — Irey Eugene (Scooter) Walker, age 12, of 1125 Chataqua (DeCliff) LaRue, died 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 1998,  at Children's Hospital in Columbus.
He was born Jan. 29, 1985, in Marion to Irey Eugene and Beverly (VanWey ) Walker. IREY JR.
Surviving besides his parents are his maternal grandfather, Richard (Donna) VanWey of Marion; maternal grandmother June (Thomas) Greathouse of Marion; paternal grandmother, Bonnie Jean Walker of DeCliff; and brother, Eugene Lawrence Foreman of Marion.
A sister, Bonnie June Walker, and another brother are deceased.
He was a fifth-grader at Elgin West Elementary School in LaRue. He was a member of the Elgin West Choir and the Wild Hearts 4-H Club.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue with the Rev. Doral J. Sharp. Burial is in the LaRue Cemetery. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
