Kathryn Elizabeth Harruff

LARUE — Kathryn Elizabeth Harruff, age 80, of 1043 Richwood-LaRue Road, LaRue, Ohio, died Saturday, Sept. 27, 1997, at 12:08 a.m. at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Kenton.
She was born July 14, 1917, in Bawling Green Township, to the late Michael J. and Mary Dell (Harris) Leffler, in the same house in which she was presently making her home.
On Sept. 25, 1940, she married Robert S. Harruff, and he died March 21,1986.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. William (Sandra) Columber of LaRue; two granddaughters, Mrs. Kent (Melanie) Wyse, of Jasper, Mich., and Kristin Vansky of LaRue; six great-grandchildren, Amber, Tyler and Ashley Wyse, Kyleigh, Kyndell and Ryne Vansky.
Two sisters, Mildred Clements and Nina Leffler, and one great-grandson, Trevor Wyse, are deceased.
She was a homemaker, member of the LaRue United Methodist Church, and fifty-year member and past matron of the Mary Lenox Chapter #98 OES.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 1, 1997, at 11 a.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue. Ministers will be the Rev. Tim Pasma and Rev. James Mason. Burial in the LaRue Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home in LaRue from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, where Eastern Star services will be conducted by the Mary Lenox Chapter #98 OES at 7:45 p.m.
