Charles Andrew Rudd


Charles Andrew Rudd, 21, 1985 Owens Road W., Prospect, died June 6, 1997 at Grant Hospital, Columbus.
Born Nov. 19, 1975, he was the son of Charles E. and Penny (Eckard) Rudd. His mother and stepfather Dan and Penny DeWitt, survive in New Bloomington.
A graduate of Elgin High School, where he played football and baseball, he was employed as an installer for Cascade Door. He was a lieutenant of the New Bloomington Fire Department and member of the Arson Investigation Task Force.
He is also survived by three brothers, Paul

E. Rudd, Prospect, Christopher Rudd, Michigan; his fiance, Kelly Blue, Prospect; maternal grand-mother,
Josephine Eckard, Marion; and paternal grandparents, Marvin and Minnie Rudd, LaRue.
The funeral is 10:30 . a.m. Monday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, with the Rev. Carver Williams officiating. Burial is in LaRue Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the New Bloomington Fire Department.
Pallbearers will be Mike Price, Jarod Blue, Tobi Kissling, Eric Clark, Darrin Hollenbaugh, John Hollenbach and John Sherman.
