Benjamin W. Daymude


Benjamin W. Daymude, 78, formerly of Richwood, died Wednsday March 26, 1997 at the home of his daughter in Mechanicsburg where he had been living for the past 21/2 years.
He was retired from Eljer's in Marysville where he had worked for more than 40 years as an electrician. He was an active member of the Pharisburg United Methodist Church and enjoyed his time on amateur HAM radio.
He was born Jan. 18,1919, in Prospect to the late Curtis W. and Louella .. Romich Daymude. On May 14,1939, in Delaware he married G. Marguerite Burkepile and she died Aug. 15,1993. He was also predeceased by a brother, John F. Daymude.
He is survived by a son, Roger (Pat) Daymude of Richwood; two daughters, Jennie Sue (John R.) Mayberry of Mechanicsburg and Robin (Jim) Richards of Columbus; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am. Saturday at the Pharisburg United Methodist Church. The Rev. Scot Nichols will officiate and burial will be at the Prospect Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood.
