Vernon Hod


BOISE, Idaho — Vernon Hod , 75, Boise, died Wednesday July 10, 1996, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center.
Born June 25, 1921, in New Bloomington, Ohio, he was the son of the late William and Emma G. (Baker) Hoch.
In September 1964, he married Valerie Hoch, and she died in February 1996.
Formerly, of the Marion, Ohio, area, he worked for the Idaho Highway Department as a truck driver and was a World War II Army Vetran.
Hoch is survived by three brothers, Earl Hoch. Tehachapi, Calif., George Hoch, Newbury Park, Calif., and Ivan Hoch, Upper Sandusky. Ohio; nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 1 p.m. Monday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, Ohio, with Rev. Keith Weller officiating. Burial is in the Agosta Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Military graveside services will be conducted by the Phillippi-Clement Post 101 American Legion. LaRue, Ohio.
