Doris Irene Welch

RICHWOOD — Doris Irene Welch, 72, Marion, formerly of Richwood, died this morning, January 15, 1996 at the home of her daughter.
Born Feb. 9, 1923, in Cambridge, she was the daughter of Cairl and Edith (Peterson) Kimble.
On Feb. 25, 1945, she married Gaylord Smith Welch, and he died June 26, 1995.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Conley (Maria) Roberts, Marion; three sons, Cairl Welch, Richwood, David Welch, Mount Gilead, and Terry Welch, Marion; three sisters, Louise Wolf, Norma Wolford and Janet Lowe, all Mansfield; and 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Wednesday at Stofcheck Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred Buckner officiating. Burial is in Price Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
