Margaret L. Moyer

RICHWOOD — Margaret L. Moyer, 82, Richwood, died Saturday December 30, 1996 at Memorial Hospital in Marysville.
She was born in Richwood on Oct. 12, 1913, the daughter of Carl Wright and Golda Belle (Rigel) Johnston.
On March 6, 1941, she married J. G. Moyer. He died on Sept. 26, 1964.
She retired in 1983 after serving as a school teacher with the North Union School District. She was a member of the Richwood Civic Center, the Central United Methodist Church and its Plus Ultra Class. She was also a member of the Union County Retired Teachers Association, a lifetime member of the Ohio Retired Teachers Association, a member and past matron of Mt. Carmel #42 Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the White Shrine of Jerslaem #15 of Marion. She is survived by one son, Joseph Moyer of Richwood; and one sister, Mildred Jesson of Caledonia. She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Stofcheck Funeral Home with the Rev. Wilbur Boyer officiating.
Burial will be in Claibourne Cemetery.
An Eastern Star Service will precede the regular funeral service.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
