Janice E. Temple


Janice E. Temple, 55, of Byhalia died Monday, Dec. 18, 1995, at her residence after a five-month battle with cancer.
She was a 1958 graduate of Byhalia York High School and a member of the Byhalia United Methodist Church and Harriett Lodge #252 OES in West Mansfield. She had worked at Whirlpool Corporation in Marion for the past 19 years.
She was born Aug. 12, 1940, in Kenton to the late Dewey and Christine Allen Hines. She was preceded in death by a brother.
She married Carroll L. Temple on Nov. 16, 1958, at Bethel United Methodist Church and he survives. She is also survived by a son, Eric Temple of Columbus; a daughter, Cindy (Kevin) Cowgill of Marysville; two granddaughters; three brothers, Jack Hines of Peoria, Jim Hines of Plain City and Richard Hines of Richwood; and two sisters, Nancy (Larry) Davis and Diane Hines of Richwood.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood. The Revs. Shirley Bench and Wayne Engle will officiate and interment will be at the Byhalia Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where an Eastern Star service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Tom Hines, Rex Davis, Clint Hines, Matt Hines, John Hines, Kurt Creamer and Jacob Temple.
Memorial contributions may be made to Tricare Hospice of Union County, 125 N. Main St., Marysville.
