Mary K. Davis

RICHWOOD — Mary K. Davis, 80, Somersville, died Saturday November 11, 1995 at her residence.
Born June 9, 1915, in Union County, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Lydia (Scott) Mouser.
On Aug. 31, 1933, in Newport, Ky., she married C. Lester Davis, and he died May 12, 1984.
A 1933 graduate of Marysville High School, was retired from the Union County Juvenile Detention Center, was a member of York McKendree United Methodist Church, its Women's Society, the RE.R.I. Group, Marysville, and an was avid baker.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. George (Virginia) Jewell, Marysville, Mrs. John (Betty) Beckley, Janet Wiley, both Richwood, Peggy Gray, Byhalia; Perry Longshore, Richwood; 16 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert Mouser; three sisters, Helen Rittenhouse, Cecile Collins, Dorothy Elliott; and a son-in-law, Russ Gray.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, Richwood, with the Rev. Bryan Meadows officiating. Burial is in Broadway Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Her grandsons, will serve as pallbearers.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Fund of Union County, in care of the funeral home.
