Viola V. Hardin


Viola V. Hardin, 95, 1916 Marion-Hardin Road, died Tuesday November 7, 1995 at Green Acres Nursing Home in Kenton.
She was born in the same house in which she had lived all her life, on June 5, 1900, to the late Henry and Anna (Bowen) Butler. On July 4, 1916, she married Grover C. Hardin, and he died Jan. 12,1940.
She is survived by a son, Russell LeRoy Hardin of LaRue; two daughters, Martha Frances Hardin and Mrs. Frank (Helen) Bauer, both of LaRue; one sister, Anna Marie Miller of Galion; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, eight brothers, three sisters and two great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker and worked for 23 years at Marion Power Shovel. Her schooling was in a one-room school called Linwood School. She was a member of LaRue United Methodist Church and had taught Sunday School for a number of years.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at LaRue Cemetery. The Rev. Keith Weller will officiate. Friends may call from 4-8   p.m.   Wednesday   at   the
Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue.
