Cecil Eugene Garee


RICHWOOD — Cecil Eugene Garee, 72, 111 W. Bomford St., died Wednesday August 27, 1995 evening at his home.
Born Dec. 11, 1922, in Westerville, he was the son of the late Claud A. and Millie (Jennings)
Garee.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Georgeanne (Griffith) Garee. He then married the former Dorothy J. Thomas on Jan. 5,1951, and she survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. William (Mary) Huddleston, Richwood; a stepson, Jim Price, Richwood; a brother, James Garee, Delaware; two sisters, Jane Sanderson, Marysville, and Joan Smith, Columbus; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Also preceding him in death was a son and three brothers.
Mr. Garee ran his own business, Garee's Heating and Cooling, in Delaware for 25 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the VFW, Delaware.
The funeral is 1 p.m. Saturday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, Richwood. Burial is in Radnor Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
