Hazel Mae OConnell

LARUE — Hazel Mae O'Connell, 98, Americare Marion, died there Monday morning, August 14, 1995.
Born May 21, 1897, in Wood County, she was the daughter of the late William and Minnie (Stoldt) McMaster.
On March 31. 1920, she married Harold O'Connell. He died July 3, 1968.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Benton (Joan) Denman Jr. of New Bloomington; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
A daughter, a brother and two sisters are deceased.
Mrs. O'Connell was a member of Riverside Needle Club, New Bloomington. Marion County Farm Bureau, and the forme Bowling Green Grange. She also worked at the Ordnance Plant in Marion during World War II.
Funeral services are 10 a.m. Thursday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, with Father Joseph Losh officiating. Burial is in St. Mary Cemetery, Marion.
Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home where prayer services will be held at 8 p.m.
