Marie N. Gibson

LARUE — Marie N. Gibson, 97, formerly of Cleveland, and of Marion for the last 10 years, died Monday August 7, 1995 at East Lawn Manor.
She was born March 7, 1898, in Attica, Ind., to the late Alton R and Caroline (Campbell) Nave.
In 1941, she married Joel W. Gibson and he died in 1971.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Marion, graduate of the National Park School for Girls in Washington, D.C. and of Ohio Wesleyan University, Delaware. She also was a member of the Marion Senior Citizens. She was a buyer at the May Company, Cleveland, for 25 years.
Graveside services are 1 p.m. Thursday at the LaRue Cemetery with the Rev. Jo Powers officiating. Calling hours will not be observed. Arrangements are by Stofcheck Funeral Home.
