Joan Britenstine

Joan Britenstine, 57, of Richwood died Thursday, May 25, 1995, at Memorial Hospital of Union County after a one-year illness.
She was a homemaker and a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Marysville.
She was born July 8, 1937, in Richwood to the late Elsie and Minerva Hoover Craig. She was predeceased by two brothers.
She is survived by her husband, Theodore W. Britenstine, whom she married June 12,1954, in Indiana; a son, Westley Britenstine of West Mansfield; four daughters, Susan (Pat) Foust, Bonnie (Rick) Wygal and Amy (Don) Moore, all of Richwood, and Brandee (Berlin) Valentine of Marion; 10 grandchildren; five sisters, Edith (Dick) Baker of Florida, Twila (Glenn) Hines and Dorothy (Don) Fryman of Richwood, Ruth (Jack) Ullmer of New Bloomington and Ruby (Victor) Phipps of Green Camp.
Following cremation, a service will be held at the church at a later date.
