Thelma G. "Ted" Lee


RICHWOOD — Thelma G. "Ted" Lee, 86, died Saturday morning August 27, 1994 at her sister's home in Lakeview, where she had been residing.
Born April 7, 1908, in Prospect, she was. thq daughter of Orben and Nellie Frances.(Rogers) Wheeler. She married Victor R. Lee and he died Aug. 29, 1966.    
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Frances Landon, Lakeview; two brothers, Murray Wheeler, Prospect, and Kenneth Wheeler, Marion; and nieces and nephews.
She also was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
Mrs. Lee had worked as a nurse in the Union and Marion County areas and at Dr. C.W. Holcomb's office in Richwood. She was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Richwood Church of Christ; honorary member of the former Richwood Navy Mothers Club; Richwood American Legion Auxilary; Mount Carmel Chapter No. 42 Order of the Eastern Star, where she was past matron.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Stofcheck Funeral Home where calling hours will be held 4-8 p.m. Tuesday with Eastern Star services at 7 p.m. Burial will be in Claibourne Cemetery. The Rev. Maynard Moser will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to Tri-Care Hospice of Logan County.
