Ethel Norma Metcalf

Ethel Norma Metcalf, 85, formerly of Seton Square, Marion, died Monday morning May 16, 1994 at Marion Manor. She was bom Sept. 8, 1908, in Pratts Fork to James E. and Clara (Alkire) Levacy. On Sept. 23, 1930, she married Harry S. Metcalf and he died Aug. 18, 1961.
Mrs. Metcalf is survived by a son, James A. Metcalf, Marion; three brothers, James Levacy, Marion, Earnest Levacy, Lancaster, and Everett Levacy, Chester; three sisters, Margaret Bobo, Columbus, Anna Mae Smith and Clareda Kaklosch, both Logan; four grandsons and two great-grandsons.
Two brothers and three sisters are deceased.
Mrs. Metcalf was a homemaker, a nurse who graduated from Athens State Hospital and retired from Grange Mutual Insurance Company.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Union Cemetery, Columbus. The Rev. David Lippert will officiate. No calling hours will be observed at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, which handled arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Emanuel United Church of Christ near Green Camp.
