Kyle E. Park


RICHWOOD — Area resident Kyle E. Park, 92, died Saturday afternoon January 29, 1994 at MedCenter Hospital, Marion.
He was born here Nov. 13, 1901, a son of Oscar V. and Lucy (Kyle) Park.
Mr. Park was a retired farmer, and for many years in the 1950s and 1960s owned and operated the Sohio Station in Richwood. He was a member of First Baptist Church and Richwood Civic Center.
On Dec. 22, 1926, in Marysville, he married the former Grace Marie Brown, and she survives.
Also surviving are two sons, James E. Park, Lorain, and Richard B. Park, Amherst; a brother, Walter Park, Richwood; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Two sisters are deceased.
The service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Stofcheck Funeral Home with the Revs. James Taylor and Herschel Roper officiating. Burial will follow in Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today.
Contributions may be made to the memorial fund of First Baptist Church.
