Janet Josephine Swartz

Janet Josephine Swartz, 73, 376 E. Market St., died Thursday morning January 27, 1994 at Marion General Hospital.
She was born Aug. 28, 1920, in LaRue, the daughter of the late Edward Merle and Lena (Johnson) Lingo.
The homemaker was a member of LaRue United Methodist Church, and Mary Lenox Chapter 98 Order of the Eastern Star. On May 25, 1946, she married Lowell "Sonny" Swartz, and he survives.
Mrs. Swartz also is survived by a son. Rick J. Swartz, Springfield; and three grandchildren.
The service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, with the Rev. David M. Elliott officiating. Burial will follow in LaRue Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday.
