Richard Lee Dennis

LARUE — Richard Lee Dennis, 70. 419 N. High St., died early this morning January 5, 1994 at Marion General Hospital.
Born Sept. 1. 1923, in Findlay, he was the son of Ross and Lena (McPherson). He married the former Dorothy Stouffer on March 18, 1944. She survives.
Also surviving are a son, Ross L. Dennis, Waldo; and two grandchildren.
Mr. Dennis operated Dennis Pharmacy in LaRue for 35 years, retiring on his birthday in 1985. His father founded the pharmacy in 1926.
Mr. Dennis was a former LaRue councilman, a U.S. Army Air Corp veteran and a member of the LaRue Lodge No. 463 F&AM. He was a 1950 graduate of Ohio Northern University and a methodist.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, with the Rev. David M. Elliott officiating. Burial will be in LaRue Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Masonic services will be there at 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Central Ohio Diabetes Association or LaRue United Methodist Church.
