Catherine Watkins

RICHWOOD — Catherine Watkins, 69, died Friday evening, November 19 1993 at MedCenter Hospital, Marion. She was a resident of 134 Swain Ave., LaRue.
Born Sept. 5, 1924, in Canonsburg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Frank and Tecla Kobasa. On Feb. 2, 1974, she married Charles O. Watkins. He preceded her in death Jan. 6, 1990.
Mrs. Watkins had formerly worked as a chef's helper at the former Hotel Harding. Then she worked at Westinghouse in Upper Sandusky for 27 years. And, finally, she worked for The Marion Star.
She attended Meeker United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son, Delson (Delsie) E. Horn, Jr., of LaRue; a daughter, Marilyn Young, Marion; three brothers, Steve Kobasa, Deland, Fla., Pete Kobasa, Toms Rive, N.J., and Nick Kobasa, Granada Hills, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
One brother is deceased.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, where friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday. Burial is in LaRue Cemetery with the Rev. Keith Weller officiating.
