Gregory Alan Barker

Gregory Alan Barker, 34, 321 Price St., LaRue, was pronounced dead at the emergency room of Marion General Hospital at 4:36 p.m. Saturday.
He was bornAug. 1,1959, in Kenton.
Surviving are his father, Bill Barker, Newark; mother and stepfather, Ruth and Herb Goedicke, near LaRue; wife Brenda (Jarvis) Barker, whom he married Feb. 14,1981; a daughter, Sarah Jo Barker, at home; a sister, Mrs. Chuck (Sherryl) Sheets, Richwood.
Mr. Barker was a machinist at Roberts Screw Products, Rushsylvania, and a member of Magnetic Springs United Methodist Church. He also coached girls Softball in LaRue.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, with burial inMapledell Cemetery. The Rev. Monty Kaufman will officiate. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the LaRue Baseball for Youth.
