Mary Frances McWade


LARUE—Mary Frances McWade. 72, 10274 Windfall Road, died Friday evening July 23, 1993 at her residence.
Bora Aug. 27, 1920, in Harpster, she was the daughter of Arthur and Nadene Smith Mawer. Her father is deceased. Her mother survi ves in Upper Sandusky.
On April 13, 1945, she married Lowell McWade and he also survives
Mrs. McWade was a graduate of White Cross Nursing School in Columbus. She worked many years as a registered nurse for the Persinger Nursing Home, LaRue. She also did private duty nursing. She was a veteran of World War II, being commissioned a first lieutenant in 1944. She was a member of the LaRue United Methodist Church; the Gleaners Ciub; Homemakers Club; Good Friends Club; and Wyandot Camping Club.
Also surviving are three daughters. Mrs. David (Sharon) Hutchinson. LaRue, Louise McWade, Marion, and Mrs. Blaine (Debra) Baker, Portland. Texas; two brothers, Steve Mawer, Raymondville, Texas, and Roger Mawer, Harpster; two sisters, Jane Trease, Upper Sandusky, and Linda Althouse, Harpster; and six grandchildren.
A sister is deceased.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, with the Rev. Lowell Sharrock and the Rev. David M. Elliott officiating. Burial is in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hardin County Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
Military graveside services will be conducted by the William Britton Post 6827 Veterans of Foreign Wars.
