Paul V. Carpenter

Paul V. Carpenter, 78, of Richwood died Wednesday, July 21,1993, at Med-center Hospital in Marion.
A retired farmer, he was a member of the Essex United Methodist Church, a former member of the Essex and Richwood school boards and a former Union County Chairman of the Agricultural Stabilization Conservation Service.
He was born in Meeker on June 18,1915, to the late Robert and Maemie Olive Metz Carpenter.
He married Norma Gibson on June 2,1937, in Morral and she survives. He is also survived by three sons, David P., Richard D. and Dale L., all of Richwood; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a brother, Damon Carpenter of
ColumbuS.
Funeral services will be held at 11 ajn. Saturday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. Wilbur Boyer will officiate and interment will be at Price Cemetery. Priends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 Friday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Richwood Emergency Squad Association.
