Rowena F. Potts

The service for Rowena F. Potts, 76, 2801 Agosta-Meeker Road, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, with the Rev. Allen Potts, son of Mrs. Potts, and the Rev. Keith H. Weller officiating. Burial will follow in. Meeker Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home 4-8 p.m. Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to Meeker United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Potts died early Friday July 16, 1993 in the emergency room of Marion General Hospital.
She was born in Marion County Feb. 21,1917, a daughter of Harley and Eva (Waterhouse) Sims, and married Gerald B. Potts Aug. 29, 1938. He died March 9, 1986.
The homemaker was a member of Meeker United Methodist Church and the Salt Rock Joy Makers.
Surviving are seven sons, Gerald B. Potts Jr., Shelby, Eugene Potts, Upper Sandusky, Allen L. Potts, Utah, Harold L. Potts, Marion, Foy O. Potts, Morral, Mark D. Potts, Meeker, and Michael R. Potts, Delaware; three daughters, Mrs. Earl (Barbara) Stiving, Mansfield, Mrs. William (Stacey) Harris, Waldo, and Mrs. Gary (Cynthia) James, Marion: two brothers, Luther Sims, Tennessee and Millie Sims, Marion; a sister, Sally Fahey, Pennsylvania; 25 grandchildren: and 26 great-grandchildren. A brother and a sister are deceased.
