Dora Moore

Dora Moore, 91,475 E. Market St.. LaRue, died 9:55 a.m. Saturday June 26, 1993 at Marion General Hospital.
She was born Jan. 3,1902, in Portsmouth, England, to the late Rowland and Emily Cooper Hill. On April 19, 1923, she married Walter Moore in Benton Harbor, Mich. He died March 11,1992.
Moore was retired from Donenfield Inc., Dayton, where she worked as a seamstress and fitter. She was a member of the Chicks Square Dance Club, the LaRue, Meeker and Marion Senior Citizens and the former LaRue Businesswomen's Club. She came to America from England in 1910, lived in Da vton for 45 years and moved to LaRue in 1968.
She is survived by three sons, Donald Moore, Columbus, Norman Moore. Atlanta, and GeraldMoore,LaRue;two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Bond, Upper Sandusky, and Mrs. Vernon (Elna) Doddington, Dunnellon, Fla.; 20 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, with the Rev. Ernest Rhodes officiating. Burial will be in the LaRue Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 6-9 p.m. today.
