Doris Amony Rinehart


LARUE — Doris Amony Rinehart, 90, 134 Front St., died Wednesday evening May 26, 1993 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.
She was bom April 21, 1903, in LaRue, the daughter of the late Harry and Metta Hamilton Tavener Freeman.
She married Sheldon Virden in 1930 and he died in 1945. She later married Howard R. Rinehart in 1970 and he died in 1983.
Mrs. Rinehart is survived by a daughter. Mrs. James (Lynda) Bowers, Worthington; two stepsons, Boyd Rinehart, LaRue, and Karl Rinehart, Marion; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Michael (Carolyn) Watson, Harpers Ferry, W. Va.. and Mrs. John (Lois) Keil, Sebring, Fla.; four grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Rinehart was a retired school teacher, a graduate of Ohio Northern University in 1960, and taught at the then LaRue Elementary School. She was a member of LaRue United Methodist Church; Mary Lenox Chapter No. 98 Order of the Eastern Star; Happy Tyme Club; and Delta Kappa Gamma.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at LaRue United Methodist Church with the Rev. David M. Elliott officiating. Burial is in LaRue Cemetery.
Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue.
