Harold Roby Bostater


LARUE — Harold Roby Bostater, 86, Marseilles, died Sunday afternoon May 2, 1993 at Hardin Memorial Hospital.
Bom Aug. 29, 1906, in Kenton, he was the son of Ertie Ray and Flora Frances (Roby) Bostater.
On Oct. 9, 1952, he married the former Rosa Lee (Weaver) in Hunts-ville. She survives. He was a retired factory worker and carpenter and was a lifetime member of the NRA.
Also surviving are two sons, Harold A. Bostater, Dunkirk, and Robert O. Bostater, Marseilles; six daughters, Patty A. Arthur, Kissimmee, Fla., Shirley J. Pugh, Columbus, Jeanne A. Bostater and Brenda L. Bostater, both Kenton, Donna M. Brown, Ohio City, and Wanda Bostater; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Stuber, Kenton, and Mrs. Mildred Southward, Wharton; 22 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, a grandchild, two brothers and a sister.
The funeral is 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, where friends may call 6-9 Tuesday night.
Burial will be in Fehl Cemetery.
