Milford "Mif" Shuster


Milford "Mif" Shuster, 88, 1072S Miles Road, LaRue, died Thursday December 24, 1992 at Marion General Hospital.
He was born April 28, 1904 to Isiah and Elizabeth Riley Shuster in Hardin County.
Shuster is survived by his wife, Marie Kale, who he married Dec. 12, 1931.
A retired employee of Commercial Steel Co., Marion, Shuster became known in the area for calling square distances for more than 60 years.
He was also member of the Marseilles United Methodist Church, Painter Creek Grange and the Hepburn Coon Hunters Club.
Shuster is also survived by one son, Armond Shuster, LaRue, one daughter. Mrs. Ronald (Nancy) Rowe, Kenton, six grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was proceeded in death by one brother, two sisters, one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Monday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, with the Rev. Linda Hendrian officiating. Calling hours are 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial is in the LaRue Cemetery.
