Helen V. Harris

Helen V. Harris, 62, 801 Windsor St., died Saturday morning Dec 19, 1992 at her residence.
She was born April 5, 1930 in Meeker, a daughter of the late John M. and Anabel Gardener Hickman.
A Canton native, she had resided here the past few years, She was a retired teacher, having taught in the Canton, area and Marion City School System. She attended Meeker United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Harris is survived by a stepson, Tom Harris, Michigan; four brothers, John C. Hickman, Delmar Hickman and Bill Hickman, Morral, Hubert Hickman, Texas; three sisters, Mary Alice Lyon, Caledonia, Evabel Roszman, Upper Sandusky, and Marie Firsdon, Bowling Green; and a stepgranddaughter. Two brothers and two sisters are deceased.
The service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, with the Rev. John Schlicher officiating. Burial will follow in LaRue Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home 4-8 p.m. Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Central Ohio Diabetes Association.
