Edith Mae Alexander

Edith Mae Alexander. 70,176 DeCliff Road. New Bloomington, died Saturday evening November 28, 1992 at Marion Manor.
She was born Sept. 24, 1922, in Marion, a daughter of Elmer and Mae Vought Miley. She was a homemaker.
On April 12,1939, she married John C. Alexander, and he died Aug. 5,1985.
Mrs. Alexander is survived by three sons, John L., Ralph E. and Paul R. Alexander, New Bloomington; two daughters, Mrs. Jesse (Dorothy) Car-lyle, Caledonia, and Mrs. Charles (Judith) Wolford, Greenwich; two brothers, Ralph Miley, Mount Gilead, and Glen Miley, Marion; three sisters, Mrs. Geneva Chatfield, Mrs. Ilene Thompson and Mrs. June Augenstein, Marion; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A son, Kenneth, and a sister are deceased.
The service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, with the Rev. Robert Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Agosta Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday.
