Genevieve H. King

Genevieve H. King, 75, Smeltzer Road, Marion, died Thursday evening May 7, 1992 at Marion General Hospital.
Born August 25, 1916, in Weston, W.Va., she was a daughter of Roy and Delia (Samples) Mick. On June 17, 1938, she married Dempsey A. King, who survives, in Clendenin, W.Va..
Mrs. King w/as retired from the O.J. Morrison Department Store, Ripley, W.Va., and was a member of the OES Lydia Chapter 83, Marion, and the Rebekah Paradise Lodge No. 19, Ripley, W.Va.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. King is survived by a son, Jim King, Marion; two brothers, Roy Mick, Clendenin, W.Va., and Robert Mick,' Ravenswood, W.Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Geneva Canterbury, Florida, and Mrs. Anna McCartney, Ripley, W.Va.; two grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, with minister John Hill officiating. Burial will be at the Fair-view Cemetery, LaRue.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday An Eastern Star service will be held at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may' be made to the Children's Hospital in care of the funeral home.
