Florence Cleo Drake

Florence Cleo Drake, 90, 1405 Os-bun Road, New Bloomington, died at 12:01 this morning Dec 9, 1991 at Maplewood Nursing Home.
Born July 31, 1901, in Marion County, she was the daughter of William and Cora Dutton Houk.
On Feb. 21, 1920, she married George E. Drake. He died May 10, 1989.
The homemaker attended the New Bloomington United Methodist Church and was a member of the former Ladies Aid Society. She also was a member of the Clay Knobbers Farm Bureau Council.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Ernest (Jeanne) Schrote, Prospect, Mrs. C. Graham (Vivian) Stillings, Pinckney, Mich., Mrs. John (Joanne) Schwaderer and Mrs. Dale (Dorothy) Moury, both of Marion; a sister, Mrs. Donna (Mae) Wasserbeck, Prospect; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
Two daughters, two brothers and one sister are deceased.
The funeral is 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue. The Rev. John T. Slicher will officiate with burial in Marion Cemetery.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday or Tuesday evening.
Memorial contributions may be made to the New Bloomington United Methodist Church Memorial Fund or the charity of the donor's choice.
