Willis Hicks


May 10, 1991- Services for Willis Hicks will be 1 p.m. Monday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, by the Revs. Blane Cooper and William C. Patterson, with burial in LaRue Cemetery.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday. Masonic services will be held at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Central Ohio Diabetes Association.
He died at 5 a.m. today. May 10, 1991, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 15, 1918, in Sharkey, Ky., to Robert F. and C., Belle (Caudill) Hicks. Oh Nov. 1-4, 1936, he married RushaM. Kegley who survives.
Also surviving are four sons. Jack O. of Apollo Beach, Fla., Bill and Dan, both of LaRue, and Rick of Dublin, Ohio; three daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Barbara) Adams, Jo
Creamer and Mrs. Alan (Pamela) McPherson, all of LaRue; three sisters, Versie Kissick and Opal
Eldridge, both of Muncie, Ind., and Amanda Roberts of Veeders-burg, Ind.; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded In death by five brothers and two sisters.
He retired from Tecumseh Products Co. of Marion and was a self-employed carpenter. He was of the Baptist faith. He- was a 32nd degree mason and a member of Morehead Lodge No. 654 Free and Accepted Masons, Morehead, Ky.
