Wilbur M. Deisher


RICHWOOD - Wilbur M. Deisher, 82, rural Richwood, died Wednesday night April 3, 1991 in Marion General Hospital.
He was bom July 24,1908, in Hardin County, to James Walter and Grace Davis Deisher.
His wife, Ruth J. Hughes Deisher, died Sept. 8,1977. On Jan. 7,1979, in Prospect, he married Ruth C. McCoy Deisher, who survives.
Before retiring, he farmed in Mount Victory, Rushsylvania and Huntsville areas.
He was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church; Prospect Senior Citizens, of which he was a former trustee; Wolf Creek and Harrison granges more than 60 years; and a former member of Harper United Methodist Churcn, where he was active in the Sunday school.
Also surviving are a son, Arthur Lee Deisher, Bellefontaine; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Nancy Deisher Hobbs, Cincinnati; two brothers, A. Neil Deisher, Bellefontaine, and Walter R. "Bud" Deisher, San Diego, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Harold (Beatrice) Hover, Huntsville, Mrs. Vera Johnson, Bellefontaine, and Mrs. Dixie Moury, Dem-ing, N.M.; and two grandchildren. A brother and a sister are deceased.
A service will be conducted at 2 p .m. Saturday in Stofcheck Funeral Home here by the Rev. Gerald Frazee. A graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Huntsville Cemetery near Bellefontaine.
Friends may call at the Richwood funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 pjn. Friday and at Eichholtz Funeral Home, Bellefontaine, 2-5 p.m. Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to Prospect United Methodist Church.
