L. Marie Park

RICHWOOD — L. Marie Park, 86, Richwood, died Friday morning March 29, 1991 at Union County Memorial Hospital, Marysville, after a lengthy illness.
Bom March 9, 1905, in Richwood, she was raised by Quint and Mary Fields, who are deceased.
In September 1924 in Monroe, Mich., she married Walter Park, who survives.
Mrs. Park was a schoolteacher for 28 years, ending her career in the North Union school district. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Jack Park, of Altadena, Calif.; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; three brothers, Paul and Bernard, Fields, East Detroit, Mich., and Monroe Fields, LaRue; one sister, Mrs. Irene Oberdier, Delaware. She was preceded in death by a son, Bill, and a brother.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Stofcheck Funeral Home by the Rev. James R. Taylor. Burial will be in Claibourne Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
