Gerald Cleveland Flesher


Feb 4, 1991-The service for Gerald Cleveland Flesher, 70, 1180 Riley Road, LaRue, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, with the Rev. David Elliott officiating.
Burial with military graveside serv- ice by LaRue American Legion will be in LaRue Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1pm. and in the  evening Friday.
Memorial contributions may be made  to -Quality of Life hospice of Marion General Hospital or LaRue United Methodist, Church.
Mr. Flesher died Monday evening at his residence.    
The Union County native was bom Nov. 7, 1920, a son of the late Milton Flesher, and Allena Bowles Flesher, who survives in Marion.
A farmer, he had been employed also as a security guard with Whirlpool Corporation'retiring after 30 years of  service, Mr.' Flesher was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and a member of Union Baptist Church, West Jackson, American Legion Phillippi-Cement Post 101, LaRue, and Whirlpool Retirees.
On Aug! 10, 1941, he married the former Fa'ye Elizabeth Ruth, who survives. ;
Also surviving are twotsons, Ronnie
E. Flesher, Indian Lake, and Steven G. Flesher, Ridgeway; a daughter, Regina
F. Buyer, Marion; a brother, Carl Flesher, Galion; and three grandchildren.
