Raymond Robinson


RICHWOOD — Local resident Raymond Robinson, 67, died early Sunday at his residence Oct 28, 1990.
He was bom in Dunlow, W.Va., Sept. 26, 1923, a son of the late Buck and Eliza Elliot Williamson Robinson.
An employee of Whirlpool Corporation, he retired 1989 after 34 years of service. Mr. Robinson was a World War II veteran, and member of United Calvary Church and Baccarat American Legion Post 40.
On July 28, 1972, in Richwood, he married the former June Willis, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Carl and Randy Robinson, Murfreesboro, Term.; four daughters, Mrs. Larry (Carol) Tanner and Rosemary Slem- mons, Richwood, Joyce West, Marys-ville, and JoAnn Parks, Marion; two stepsons, Mark Deel, Kansas City, Mo., and David Deel, Somersville; three brothers, Maxie Robinson, Dun-low, W.Va., Okie Williamson, Cleveland, and Jay Willimason, Edison; three sisters, Mrs. Fanny Rice and Mrs. Millie Mathies, Dunlow, Mrs. Arland (Armentia) Messcr, Kermit, W.Va.; 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A brother is deceased.
The service, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Stofcheck Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Dionne officiating. Burial will follow in Claiboume Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial coniribuiions may be made to Quality of Life hospice of Marion General Hospital.
